Demon Picture

Have you ever seen a demon picture? People imagine a demon to be some kind of hideous looking creature, but they forget that a demon's primary weapon is deception. A demon could appears as a handsome man or beautiful woman. What does a demon look like? Demons are fallen angels which means they are spirit beings and at one time they were beautiful creatures.

Have you ever seen a demon picture? Chances are very good that you have even though you may not have known it at the time.

We've certainly seen people whom we know were at least demon influenced. People such as Hitler, Son of Sam, Jim Jones, your local drug dealer, any person in prison, policemen, and the majority of people whom you meet on the street. What does a demon look like?

Most people have a mental picture of demons being ugly, loathsome creatures which will cause terror to look upon them. The fact is they seldom appear in their true shape. They are deceivers first and foremost. Look in the mirror. Staring back at you is a demon picture. 2 Cor. 11:14 & 15 state: "for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his SERVANTS (demons) masquerade as servants of righteousness.The verse concludes with Their end will be what their actions deserve.

The fact is that you have to judge who is a demon or demonically influenced by that person's actions and not their appearance. What are some characteristics of demons?

*They have intellect. In Mark Chapter 5 Jesus confronted a demon possessed man. The demon in this man cried, "What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? Swear to God that you won't torture me!"

*They have knowledge. In Acts 19 some would be exorcists have confronted a demon possessed man. The evil spirit within states"Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but who are you?"

*They have emotion. In the illustration above, the demon begged not to be tortured. In James 2:19 it is stated You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that...and shudder.

*They know who they are. In Mark Chapter 5 Jesus asks the demon his name and he replies "My name is Legion for we are many"

*They have the ability to speak and they have will as the above illustrations demonstrate

Demons do not have free reign in what they do. Their actions are restricted by God. In the story of Job,when the devil accuses Job before God telling God that if you let me take away everything he has, Job will curse you. God agrees telling Satan Very well, then, everything he has is in your hands, but on the man himself do not lay a finger."Job1:12. The question comes to mind: What would have happened to Satan if he had disobeyed God? Even though Satan and his demons are in rebellion against God, as is the majority of mankind, they are still subject to God's rule.

How many demons are there? Scripture tells us that one third of the angels rebelled against God and are now Satan's servants. How many angels were there? Daniel 7:10 tells us that there were "thousands upon thousands and ten thousand times ten thousand". There is literally an army of demons. But keep in mind that there are 2 angels for every demon.

How are demons identified in scripture? Here you can get a good mental image of a demon picture. They have a spirit of divination. See Acts 16:16. This includes fortune telling, tarot reading, witchcraft, horoscopes, channeling, casting spells, and interpreting omens. Those Psychic Hot Lines are really hot lines to hell. Those people are speaking with the mouths of demons. People who contact the dead by channeling are actually contacting demon spirits pretending to be "the deceased loved ones". Horoscopes are an exercise in futility...completely useless and false. Refer to the following scriptures:Isaiah 47:13, Leviticus 19:26, Deuteronomy 18:11, Leviticus 20:27, 1 Samuel 28, Micah 5:12, 2 Kings 17:17 for some scriptural evidence that God wants you to have nothing to do with the spirit of divination and its relatives.

Demons have a lying and deceiving spirit. Their sole purpose is to lead you away from the truth of God and what He has done for you through his Son Jesus, so that you might obtain eternal life. Demons attack the church by False Prophecy:Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many FALSE PROPHETS have gone out into the world. This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world.1 John 4:1-3

Have you have heard the expression that a black cat who walks in front of you will bring bad luck? Or that breaking a mirror will result in 7 years of bad luck? Or knocking on wood brings good luck? This is complete and utter nonsense and comes from demons. 1 Timothy 4:7 states Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives tales; rather, train yourself to be godly.

1 Timothy 4 also states that in the latter days (the days just before Christ returns) some will abandon the faith (leave Christianity) and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. It goes on to say that these teachings are from hypocritical liars who have had their consciences seared with a hot iron. These people don't care about you. They are self-serving. A couple of the signs of these people are that they forbid you to marry and order you to abstain from certain foods. Those people who say eating meat is of the devil are actually doing the devil's work. God blessed all food when Noah departed the ark. Genesis 9:3 Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything. The command to abstain from meats comes from demons not God.
