Wormwood September 27, 2007 |
On Aug. 12, an openly gay pastor led a Sunday service attended by nearly 80 congregants, mostly homosexuals, who hugged and sang hymns and lyrics such as, "With justice as our aim, a queer and righteous people united in Christ's name," according to AP. The above was taken from a news article published by Prophecy News Watch. It concerns an openly gay pastor in Malaysia. They may be queer but they aren't righteous because homosexuality is an abomination in God's eyes. This is no different than an adulterous pastor proclaiming the word of God or a priest who fondles children. Sin is sin. That doesn't mean they cannot become righteous because the blood of Christ washes away all sin. Those who truly belong to Christ will not continue in sin. If they do, Christ Himself will punish them just as a father disciplines his children. The news article went on to say:Although homosexuality is not itself a crime under Malaysian law, it is covered by a law prohibiting sodomy, which is punishable by up to 20 years in prison and whipping, according to AP. Even the country of Malaysia considers sodomy to be an abomination. However, sending a sodomite to prison seems kind of redundant. ----------------------------------------------------------- There is best selling atheist book titled "God Is Not Great, How Religion Spoils Everything". The title has a point: Religion is evil. Jesus Christ Himself was very critical of the religious leaders of His day. What most people don't understand is that Christ wants a relationship not a ritual. "If you love me, you will keep my commandments" was one thing Christ said. Why should we keep His commandments? Don't they oppress us and bind us to ritual? Of course not. The rules of God are for the benefit of man. What country allows its citizens to kill, steal, lie, and allows married people to have sex with others? All countries have laws and taboos against these violations of God's commandments even though they do not acknowledge God. Islam is evil. Islam does not acknowledge Christ. They worship a false God. Islam is religion. Catholicsm is evil. Catholicsm adds manmade rules that contradict the clear teachings of the Word of God. Mormonism is evil. The book "The Pearl Of Great Price", a work of fiction, has authority over the Word of God. These are examples of religion gone astray. Christ wants a relationship. During the judgment day, He tells a group of His "so called followers" to depart from Him because He never knew them. They used the name and word of God for selfish gain but never entered into a relationship with Christ. Atheism denys His very existence. This is the ultimate in foolishness. How can you deny God exists when all the scientific evidence says otherwise? Invent false sciences such as evolution. The fact is atheists and agnostics refuse to acknowledge God because their true sinful nature would be revealed and people hate to think of themselves as sinners. They point out the evil acts done in the name of God and use that as their excuse to deny His existence. ---------------------------------- The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter. Rev.8:11 This verse is referring to a great meteor that strikes the earth and contaminates a third of the world's drinking water which results in the death of many men. Every prophetic event in the bible has had a preview such as Jonah being buried for three days in the belly of a fish before he rose from it which previewed Christ spending three days in the tomb. Was the meteor that struck Peru on September the 15th a preview of Wormwood? The crater left by the impact of the meteor has filled with water and is emanating gases that are causing the people of Carancas to become sick. More than 600 people fell ill from the fumes and now the citizens are afraid to drink the water. Could this be a foretaste of what is prophesied in Revelation? Do a search on Google using the term Peru meteor Sept 15th for more details on the event. Copyright 2007 by Gary Goodworth
