UFOs and Bible Prophecy December 10, 2006 |
--------UFOs: The Bible Connection------- I am happy to see that you acknowledge [in one of your articles] that the present day alien-ufo reality is part of Satan's end time deception for mankind. In view of this fact, it might not be such a stretch of the imagination to believe that these craft have the ability to "beam us up" off of the planet, and that such is referred to in the biblical text as "heavenly ascensions", to which we refer to today as "alien abductions." I, therefore, see why you are receptive to my work in the biblical text. We are clearly "on the same page." One of the early paintings in the section of biblical art "AD" depicts Moses at Sinai, with the tablets in his hands. (Frank is referring to art at a now defunct website.) There are also clearly "four" orbs depicted hovering in the heavens. These are Ezekiel's four angelic chariots of the cherubim, or the chariots of God that were present with God in the heavens, at Sinai. [Ps. 68:17] Angelic chariots are, indeed, the modus transportarae of all biblical, heavenly ascensions, and will be the physical mechanism of the Rapture event. Ezekiel's vision has long been viewed as a "ufo encounter" by biblical scholars. My position in text is therefore not "precedent setting." Other scholars have also written on the subject of biblical ufos. Lutheran scholar, Dr. Ted Peters, wrote the book "UFOs: God's Chariots." My friend and colleague, biblical scholar and Presbyterian minister, Dr Barry Downing, wrote the book "The Bible and Flying Saucers" , in which he traced the presence of ufos during the Jewish Exodus. Dr. R. Cedric Leonard also wrote an article "Exegetical Analysis of Ezekiel's Wheels", in which he also sets forth an argument that Ezekiel saw four flying saucers. ...and the list goes on. It pretty much gets down to one's approach to biblical interpretation. I am a literal interpreter, and believe that the Bible is "authoritative." I believe that Elijah ascended into the heavens in a fiery chariot, as it is written. In view of this, when the scriptures instruct us that the Lord is going to "send out his angels to gather together his elect"...and unto him, so it shall come to pass as it is written. I believe that we are living in the last days, and that the events of Revelation are about to come to pass, within the next few years. I have also devoted a great deal of study to the book of Revelation and other biblical text that instruct us about end time events. My prophetic views, in a biblical...nut-shell...~ The New World Order present in the world, although it has not been fully implemented, which the Antichrist, the leader of the NWO or New World Order, will bring about by means of a series of wars. The agenda of the NWO is the elimination of national boundaries and the division of the world into 10 Jurisdictions...this, according to the Club of Rome model. This is the 10 horns of Revelation 17 and Daniel 7. Daniel instructs us that there will be a forth and final empire upon the earth: the World Empire of the last days; Daniel 7:23 Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms,[that came before it] and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. [ "divide" it into 10 horns] Daniel 7:24 And the ten horns out of this Kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them [Antichist]. Revelation 17:12: And the ten horns that you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they shall receive authority as kings for one hour together with the beast [Antichrist]." Daniel and Revelation clearly address the same end time chronology: a time when Christ comes back to the earth with his angelic chariots. Daniel 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. Rev. 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. I believe that there are very few years left, and that Christ is coming soon. Biblical prophecy is coming to pass in front of our eyes. While I am not sure about the timing of the great "catching away" event [Rapture], I know that this event will come to pass in literal fulfillment. I am among a group of scholars who believe that there will be two such events, one towards the beginning of the Tribulation and one at the end, when Christ "comes down from out of the heavens adorned with his Bride." Some Christians will be taken first, and others will have to endure the Tribulation. (Note: The Bible clearly teaches that many will be saved during the Tribulation period which occurs after what we call the Rapture. Some scholars disagree.- Gary Goodworth) It is all about Jesus being our Groom, and Christians, his Bride. Matthew 25 clearly instructs us that all of the Groom's virgin brides maid, will not be taken into the Marriage Feast of the Lamb", which takes place in the heavens [Temple]. Jesus' teaching about how he was going into his Father's House to prepare us a dwelling place, and would come again to receive us unto himself [my means of his angels gathering us up unto him], is all pursuant to ancient Jewish betrothal custom, in which the Groom, after having betrothed the Bride, built a dwelling place for her on his Father's property. According to the custom, only the Father could tell the son when the dwelling place was adequate and complete, whereby the Groom would go for his Bride. The intent was to catch the Bride unawares. This is why the Bride placed a lamp in the window, as well as placing a family member on guard day and night, in order to warn the Bride that her Groom was "at the gate." ["Behold, he is at the gate'] The teaching about the "10 virgin bride maids", in Matthew 25, is based on this tradition. Accordingly, Jesus said that he did not "know the hour or the day" of his [second] coming, but only his Father knew. Thus, it is written in Phil 3:20: "For our citizenship is in the heavens, from whence we expect our Savoir, Jesus Christ" This reference is to our Groom, who is coming to "receive us" by means of his angels in the chariots of God, into the Heavenly Temple, in which he has prepared a place for us, and which comes down from out of the heavens at the end of the Tribulation with the Bride..after the Marriage Feast, at which time those whose "robes were washed clean" during the Tribulation, will be "caught up into the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air". My predictions for the future: World War 3 will break out, the ignition point will be the Middle East, as the US goes to war with Iran, with whom both Russia and China have strong economic, as well as strategic ties. They will launch a preemptive, nuclear strike on the US cities and military installations. Antichrist is the leader of the NWO and, with his armies [UN Forces?] will move to complete the implementation of the NWO. He is the rider of the white horse of Revelation, who "goes out conquering and to conquer" the nations that resist. The earth is going to be struck by comets and/or asteroids, a period of the Tribulation that is referred to as the Great Tribulation." It is the period in which God unleashes His heavenly wrath upon the earth, which shall indeed come from above. "Hail, mixed with fire and brimstone" shall fall to the earth, each of which will weigh about 100 pounds, as it is written. Comets are composed of solid debris and frozen water. As they enter into the earth's atmosphere, they melt, falling as hail, mixed with fiery debris. "The great star, Wormwood" might be a meteor. The major difference between comets and meteors or asteroids, is that the later cores of solid iron, and generally cause far greater damage on the earth's surface. There are, however, comets with iron cores as well, for there are two kinds of comets. I also believe that there is going to be a great earthquake upon the earth, the result of which will be an axial shift, in which the earth will literally be knocked off its axis. This event is referenced in Revelation 6:12-14, and in Revelation 16:18-22. It is also spoken of in great detail in Isaiah 24, to which scholars refer as "The Apocalypse of Isaiah", a text that parallels the events of Revelation. This text tells us that God is going to shake the earth, and that it will "reel to and fro like a drunkard, and sway like a hut." It speaks of how this event will literally rip the earth's landmasses apart, "and tear them asunder." Some scientists are warning that such an event is not only possible, but eminent. What is our hope? "When you see all of these things START to come to pass, know that your redemption is near" "Pray without ceasing that you are counted worthy to escape the things that are to come upon the earth..and stand before the Son of Man." ...the Bride, whose lamp is full of oil and who expects the Groom to come and receive them into his Father's House for the part of a lifetime...!
