According to World Net Daily there is a movie scheduled to be released on 06-06-2006 called The Beast. The purpose of this movie is to prove that Jesus Christ never existed. Since there is more historical data to prove that Jesus Christ did exist than any other person in the history of mankind, I'm curious to see what lies they come up with to "prove" that Jesus never existed.

What evidence do we have today that Jesus Christ exists? In John 14:9 Jesus said, Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'? Jesus is saying to Philip that He was indeed God. Study the first chapter of John which very clearly teaches that Jesus is not only our redeemer and savior, but He is also our God and our creator.

Since we know that Jesus is God, there are some prophecies in the Old Testament that tell us that God/Jesus will have living witnesses on this planet so that the world will come to know and believe in the one and only true God. Those living witnesses happen to be the nation of Israel. Israel is unique in the fact that its people were scattered among the nations for 2,000 years yet kept their identity as Jews. God said in Isaiah Chapter 43 verses 10 and 11 "You are My witnesses," says the Lord, "And My servant whom I have chosen, That you may know and believe Me, And understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, Nor shall there be after Me. I, even I, am the Lord, And besides Me there is no savior. The book of Isaiah is addressed to the nation of Israel.

God was telling Israel that the Jewish people were "His witnesses" so the world may know and believe in God. Israel's very existence points to the fact that there really is a God who does what He says He will do. There are two kinds of evidences that we have today that prove that God exists.

The first evidence of God is creation. Romans Chapter 1 states 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man--and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. 24 Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, 25 who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

Since creation is one of the evidences for God, those who teach evolution are really teaching that there is no God. There is not one shred of scientific data that supports the theory of evolution but every science program I've seen on television, the word "evolved" is thrown in at least once. This shows that Satan is alive and well on planet earth doing his best to blind men to the real truth. Paul is saying in Romans that although some people have never heard the name of Jesus, they can see the creation on a daily basis so they have "no excuse" not to believe in God, although they don't know His name.

The second evidence of God is Israel. The fact that Israel exists is pointing to the fact that Jesus Christ is soon to return to this planet to rule and reign as "King of kings, and Lord of lords". So why does the world hate the Jewish people so much? Because salvation is of the Jew. The majority of the world lives in darkness with Satan as their god (although they don't realize it). Light exposes darkness and darkness hates the light. The Jew represents the light of God (Jesus was Jewish) which is why the world hates Israel. Satan is using the Muslim religion as a tool to stir up hatred toward Israel. In fact, Ezekiel Chapter 38 prophesies that the surrounding Arab countries along with Russia will attack Israel only to have their armies destroyed by God.

Why would Brian Flemming, who claims to be a former fundamentalist Christian, want to make a movie denying the existence of Christ? Jesus said in John Chapter 9:4 4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. We are approaching the time when the whole world will reject God and worship "The Beast". The world will believe this man to be God because of the miracles he performs and the fact that he has brought peace and prosperity to the world.

Here is the synopsis of The Beast movie taken from its own website: Now that Danielle possesses proof of the dangerous fact that Jesus never existed, she must confront two strong forces: A band of fundamentalist Christians who will stop at nothing to suppress the truth, and her own desire for Jesus Christ to be real.

It's interesting to note that Mr. Flemming portrays fundamentalist Christians as terrorists who will do anything to suppress truth. The Bible teaches that Christians are the salt of the earth and the light of the world and it is their duty to spread the gospel to the world. What is the gospel? That Jesus the God/man went to the cross to the pay the penalty for the world's sins so that whoever believes and trusts in Him will have eternal life. The gospel means Good News.

The true beast is Brian Flemming and men like him. They stand directly opposed to God. He has the spirit of antichrist within him. What does Revelation 13 say about the beast?2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast. 4 And they worshiped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshiped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him? 5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven. 7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

What does this beast do? A. He causes all the world to wonder after him. B. The dragon gives power to the beast. The dragon is another name for Satan. C. He suffers a head wound which is miraculously healed. D. He elevates himself above God because He speaks great things and blasphemies. E. He is given power to make war with the saints (Jews and Christians). F. He overcomes them. G. He has power over all the peoples of planet earth.

Yes, there is coming a time when no man can work for Christ on this planet because it has plunged into darkness. Mr. Flemming is a representative of that coming darkness. He is doing exactly what Satan wants him to do. I have a word of warning for people like Mr. Flemming: all the demonic powers in the universe can't deliver a person out of God's hands. For those who accept God, this is a source of great comfort. For those who reject God, this is a fearsome and terrible thing because God has the keys to death and hell. Deny Him at the risk of your own soul.
