Satan is the ruler of this age and he controls the media. When the U.S. media made a public outcry of how American soldiers were mistreating Iraqi prisoners, all they did was add fuel to the fire of hatred that the Muslim people have for the United States. Was the American media (such as CBS) genuinely concerned over treatment of Iraqi prisoners? Of course not. They saw this as an opportunity for some Bush bashing so they can get their own manipulated puppet back into office.

The leaders of our country denounced the mistreatment of Iraqi prisoners as being un-American and are prosecuting the appropriate accused parties. Of course, the radical Muslim terrorists have been mistreating their own people and own prisoners for years and years. Now the Iraqi terrorists have vowed "revenge" against the Americans for what they did to the Iraqi people. Thanks to the stupidity of the satanically controlled media, Nick Berg became the first victim of this "revenge' by having his head cut off and being broadcast on the Internet for all the world to see.

Our leaders were outraged at the discovery of Iraqi prisoners being mistreated. Where was the outrage from the leaders of the Arab world when their people murdered an innocent American civilian in cold blood? The truth is they didn't care simply because he was an American. As any good Arab Muslim knows, America is the home of Satan. It's no big deal to kill off one of his demons.

It is ironic that it is the Muslim world that Satan has deceived and the bible foretells of their doom at the hand of God because they would not stop from killing. Look for the city of Damascus to be obliterated from Syria sometime in the near future.

------------The Coming Persecution------------

Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. Revelation 20:4

The United States was settled by a group of Europeans who wanted the freedom to worship as they chose. These people were tired of the state telling them when, where, and who they could worship. People from all over the world move to the United States because of religious freedom. I'm telling you now that there are many people in the United States who want that freedom taken away.

What they want is for you to participate in any religion except for Christianity or Judaism. The liberals of this country claim it is okay to be a satanist but don't dare become a Christian. Those Christians are evil.

That is how Islam sees Christianity; an evil religion spawned by Satan that should be destroyed. It is taught in their bible called the Koran. O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people. Koran 5:51

And the Jews say: Uzair is the son of Allah; and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah; these are the words of their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before; may Allah destroy them; how they are turned away! 9:30 The Koran denies the triune God (God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit). They claim there is no good but Allah and Allah did not have a son or a messiah who died for people's sins. Those who teach that (Christians) are worthy of death.

Nick Berg was a victim of Islam. His public beheading was a warning to the whole world (at least from the Islamic viewpoint) to what happens to Christians. I have no idea if he was a Christian or not but since he was an American, then Islam saw him as one. They view all of the United States as a Christian nation who befriends that most hated and despised enemy: the Jew. That is why the United States is public enemy number one. The irony in this is that if Islam succeeded in destroying the Untied States, they would just start killing each other like they have been for years and years.

The United States is in great danger because it is becoming a divided country. There are the conservatives who love their country and have high regard for Christian values. Then there are the liberals who are sympathetic to Islam, hate their own country, and despise Christian values.

The book of Revelation tells us that millions of people who refuse to worship the Antichrist but worship Christ instead will be executed publicly for their faith in Christ. Religious oppression will rule during the tribulation period. Many Christians of the world today die for their faith in Islamic and Communist countries. During the tribulation, you won't even be able to go the store to buy groceries simply because you are a Christian.

The Christian church always grows in countries in which Christianity is persecuted. Christianity in the United States has grown complacent. Most of the U.S. population would rather be on the lake fishing or visiting a theme park or attending a sports event than to be in church on Sunday morning. They take their religious freedom for granted. That is why the U.S. has become the number one mission field in the world. God will not allow his church to become complacent...persecution is coming.

This ezine and my website An Unseen World will one day be a target of this persecution. Why? Because it proclaims the gospel that Jesus is God and He died so that you might live. Satan hates that. The tribulation saints will have made the choice of choosing between God and Satan. Since they chose God, Satan beheads them in public. What happens to these beheaded Christians? And they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. Revelaiton 20:4 They have victory in Jesus while Satan has already lost the war. Nick Berg's death will be avenged.
