-------Mark Of The Beast-------

"5 He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed. 16 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, 17 and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man: His number is 666." Revelation 13

How close are we to this prophecy being fulfilled? What does it take to make these things come to pass?

First it states that "the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed". A hundred years ago theologians wondered how an image could speak and order executions. Technology has solved that problem. With the advancements in robotics, computer graphics, microchips, 3D technology, and worldwide communications systems this is easily possible by scientific means. However, I believe this is when science crosses paths with the supernatural. Where does the image get its power to speak and issue commands?

"1 Then I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. 12 And he exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence, and causes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. 13 He performs great signs, so that he even makes fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men. 14 And he deceives those who dwell on the earth by those signs which he was granted to do in the sight of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who was wounded by the sword and lived" Revelation 13

This second beast has two horns like a lamb (Jesus is pictured as the lamb of God) so this beast is a church leader. He is a pastor. It's very possible he could be the next Pope but that remains to be seen. Notice his outward appearance is that of a lamb but he "spoke like a dragon". Dragon is another name for Satan. This beast is a person who has great influence in the church but his power comes from Satan. There are many people like this leading the worship services in our churches today.

This beast is the one who gives the image of the Antichrist the power to speak and issue commands. This image could be a giant statue or robot having the breath of life blown into it by the second beast, also known as the False Prophet, just like God breathed life into Adam and man became a living soul. Satan imitates everything God does. Thats why I believe science crosses paths with the supernatural here.

If you fail to worship this image and receive his mark, you won't be able to buy or sell no matter who you are. If you take the mark, you doom yourself to an eternity in hell. If you don't take the mark, you will be executed by having your head cut off. Muslims are doing that now.

What is required to have the whole world under control? We have to live in a surveillance society where your every move is tracked. I can go online now and find how my house looks from outer space. The credit bureau has a record of every transaction I every made involving credit. Cities are putting up cameras in the streets to monitor crimes. You go into almost any store and your every move is on camera.

One news article I recently read said the FBI has 10 year $1 billion dollar contract to amass a database of physical characteristics. The article goes on to say, "The FBI already has 55 million sets of fingerprints on file. In coming years, the bureau wants to compare palm prints, scars and tattoos, iris eye patterns, and facial shapes. The idea is to combine various pieces of biometric information to positively identify a potential suspect."

It goes on to say, "The FBI says it will protect all this personal data and only collect information on criminals and those seeking sensitive jobs. The ACLU's Steinhardt doesn't believe it will stop there. "This had started out being a program to track or identify criminals," he said. "Now we're talking about large swaths of the population -- workers, volunteers in youth programs. Eventually, it's going to be everybody' "

Because of missing pets and children, the use of a microchips as a means of tracking people has popular support. The anitchrist will use microchip technology for his "mark of the beast system of commerce".

Cash transactions will become obsolete. Governments lose thousand maybe millions of dollars of tax dollars from who earn income via cash transactions. There is no way to trace a cash transaction and the governments of the world know it.

Will the world resist this mark? I don't think so. Those who walk in the light of God's truth will be gone before that period begins. Those who walk in darkness will think it's a great idea but they will soon find out that dealing with the devil has terrible consequences. Don't let that happen to you. .
