I had the opportunity to hear Mike Evans speak at our church this past weekend. Mike Evans is an author of several best selling non-fiction books, journalist, guest speaker on many TV news shows, and a Jewish Christian or, if you prefer, a completed Jew.

Mike has access to inside information that the media refuses to report or puts a spin on the truth so that the public is misinformed.

The United States is a nation that is divided. One side wants to kick God out of the country so they can live as they please and the other side wants to maintain a moral lifestyle so we can continue to be blessed by God. Our nation was founded on biblical principles that originated in Israel. The predominant religion in the USA is Christianity and the most important aspects of this faith (the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ) happened in Jerusalem.

Jerusalem is the capital of Israel and is destined to be the capital of planet Earth despite what many Christian denominations teach. Why Jerusalem? It is simple geography. If you could look at the land masses of planet earth on a flat map, you will see Jerusalem is the center point of Earth. It only makes sense to rule the planet from its central point. Christianity began at Earth's center.

What does this have to do with Mike Evans? Consider what Zechariah 12:3 says, And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.

This prophecy states that all nations, including the United States, will one day be opposed to Israel and all who are opposed would be cut into pieces. This is God's land and His name is Jesus Christ not Allah or Buddha. Presently, the only ally in the world that Israel has is the United States. This means that either the USA is going to turn against Israel or cease to be a nation.

Mike revealed some facts that the liberal news media doesn't want you to know. To help you understand these facts, you must understand the mind set of Islam. Islam believes that the Holy Bible of Christianity is a false teaching. The Qur'an is the true revelation of God. Islam believes that is was Abraham's son Ishmael that was offered up as a sacrifice to God. Israel rejects the Qur'an because of the Old Testament and the United States rejects the Qur'an because of the Holy Bible. Islam sees Israel and the USA as the big and little Satan.

One fact that Mike revealed is that most of the American soldiers being killed in Iraq are not killed by Iraqis but Iranian terrorists in Iraq. Iraq did indeed have weapons of mass destruction but they were moved to Syria before Bush could get there with his troops. What delayed Bush? He tried to get the permission of the United Nations which is a predominantly Muslim organization.

This past May the president of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, sent a letter to president Bush. The letter asked to Bush to convert to Islam. If he did not, then his country would suffer terrible consequences. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is making no attempt to cover up his intentions. He said he is going wipe Israel off the Earth. He is in the process of building nuclear weapons and he will use them on Israel (the little Satan) and the United States (the big Satan).

Mike Evans calls Mahmoud Ahmadinejad "Hitler on steroids". Mahmoud Ahmadinejad believes that if he starts Armageddon it will usher in the 12th Imam and Mahdi. According to Islamic belief, this is the savior of mankind. They believe when this man appears that Jesus will also appear and pray behind him. They believe that this scripture in Revelation Chapter 6 is the 12th Imam And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer. Christian theologians understand this to be the antichrist.

Jerusalem will soon be the focal point of the news. Satan is trying to prevent the return of Christ. We see that the pieces are in place for the fulfillment of Ezekiel Chapters 38 and 39 which tell us that Russia and Iran leads an army of Muslim nations into Israel and are destroyed by God Himself. I believe these armies are also commanded by the Antichrist.

What does scripture say about the future of Jerusalem?

Zec 12:9 It shall be in that day that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Zec 14:2 For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; The city shall be taken, The houses rifled, And the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, But the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Zec. 14:16And it shall come to pass that everyone who is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

Zec. 14:10 & 11 All the land shall be turned into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem. Jerusalem* shall be raised up and inhabited in her place from Benjamin's Gate to the place of the First Gate and the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananeel to the king's winepresses. The people shall dwell in it; And no longer shall there be utter destruction, But Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

Jesus Christ is king of planet Earth. He created it for His pleasure. We did not evolve from monkeys or amoebas. We have an enemy whom we call Satan. Satan currently has reign over this planet thus we get people like Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The battle for this planet is heating up in a realm that we can't see. The question is: Whose side are you on?
